What we do
We work in four areas of public health. Most engagements combine several of them: an evaluation that leads to training, for example, or technical assistance informed by implementation research.

Health system strengthening
We support ministries of health and their agencies on planning, governance, workforce and supply chains: the parts of a health system that determine whether services reach people.
In South Sudan, for example, we developed the implementation framework for professionalising supply chain management on behalf of UNICEF and People that Deliver.

Immunisation
We provide technical support to Nigeria's Ministry of Health and partners on the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI).
For Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, we are evaluating demand-side incentives for immunisation in Lesotho, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon.

Emergency preparedness and response
With the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), we support the development and roll-out of emergency preparedness and response strategies.

Capacity building and training
We design and deliver training for frontline and managerial health staff, and leave behind the tools institutions need to continue it themselves.
